CPT-onomies: Using Custom Post Types as Taxonomies
Always Get "The term you are tryin (10 posts)

Whatever I try to add in the CPT-onomy metabox I get this validation error message :
" The term you are trying to add does not exist. CPT-onomy terms, a.k.a posts, must already exist to be available for selection. "
Even if the term does exists and proposed in the autocompletion list of existing posts...
    Am I missing something ? Can you help me ? (I use CPT-onomies 1.1)
    Regards,
    Antoine

Hmm... that's odd. Let me do a little research and get back to you. If you need to be 'assigning' terms in the meantime, you can change the selection format.

Just for curiosity's sake, have you tried deactivating your other plugins to see if that fixed the problem?

Just trying to gather some data.

While I wasn't able to recreate the bug, I had a few ideas and made a few tweaks that I would love for you to test out. If you'll shoot me an email, I'll send you the updated code.

Has everyone made sure another plugin isn't interfering?

    AND

made sure you don't have any old taxonomy terms (if you ever had a taxonomy with the same name as your CPT-onomy) that are competing with your CPT-onomy terms? Check out the "Help" tab -> "Troubleshooting" -> "When I filter or query posts, the results are incorrect" for more info.

I'm trying my best to recreate the problem to see what's going on but the box works for me for every scenario I've tried. If someone would be willing to grant me access to their web site so I can look around and see what might be causing the bug, I would really appreciate it.

    What theme is everyone using?

And please include your framework if you're using one.

I have pushed out version 1.1.1 with hopes that it fixes the problem.

I was able to work with someone who had the problem and they were using a WPZOOM theme that was messing with the meta box.

If you update and are still having the problem, please provide me with as much info as you can like what WP version you're using, what theme you're using (along with any frameworks), any plugins you're using, etc.

    Thanks!
