   Since I added Counts Per Day my blog has been using a HUGE amount of bandwidth, to such an extent that I've had to upgrade to a private server (and pay more to my host) because I kept getting "Internal Server Error."

   Does this make sense, and can it be fixed so I'm not using so much bandwidth?

   CpD don't need bandwidth. All scripts and data are local.
   Try to deactivate saving of clients and referrers. These data are the biggest one. Maybe your website an your database are not on the same server. But this is not soooo much traffic.
