I know this is a very Contact-7 Form for DUMMIES question, but we all have to begin somewhere.

I installed the Contact 7 form and I am confused about what to enter in the fields below. In other words, what name and email get entered in to the[your-name] <[your-email] in the message body? Or are these fields filled in when someone fills out the form?

    Message Body
    From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Subject: [your-subject]

    Message Body:
    [your-message]

    Thank you for your time.

Yes, [your-name] will be replaced with user input text through the field with "your-name" as its field name; in the same way [your-email] will be replaced with input text through "your-email" field.

You may see these tags in your 'Form' text area if you still have the default settings:

Your Name (required)
[text* your-name]

Your Email (required)
[email* your-email]

[text* your-name] in the form and [your-name] in the mail; [email* your-email] in the form and [your-email] in the mail are corresponding respectively.

Please check the FAQ and documentations for details.
