   I have put this tag
   [recaptcha your-recaptcha]
   into the form but clearly this doesn't work so what should the tag read?

   It is a tag used in Contact Form 7's "reCAPTCHA add-on module." You need to install it and it needs WP-reCAPTCHA plugin as well.

   Yeah I have installed both the add-on module and plugin as instructed. It is the syntax for the tag that is needed?

   Yes, the syntax is correct.

   Where did you put the recaptcha.php?

   It works fine now. Thanks for an excellent plugin.
