   I am also having the exact same problem. The confirmation will not pop up, but the emails get sent!

   I don't have experience with this problem but it may be related to your theme. Try going back to the default "twentytwo" theme and seeing if the problem is the same. It's possible something in your theme's CSS is overriding the confirmation, which should appear under the submit button.
