    Hello ...

I have Contact Form 7 installed, everything seems to be working, I fill out the form and submit it and get a successful message. But never get the email?

    What step am I missing?

    Mike

Have you tried using a different To email address?

Hello ... I have tried 3, could be something with the wordpress mail settings? Where do I edit these?

    Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I've tried sending to different email addresses. All emails are successful (even the one with "viagra" in the "from" and "subject" lines (with askismet activated) but none arrive at their destination.

Found the problem. I checked with my ISP and the emails were all leaving their servers. The problem lies in spam protection. The settings on the server prevented an email from being delivered that was "from" joe@gmail.com but was actually being sent by burnelli@myisp.net.

So it's the server's mail filtering that is catching these because of problems with the headers, yes? Presumably they may look like spoofed/forged headers.

Can I suggest you contact the plugin's authors asap? If he is still supporting the plugin, I imagine he'd be very interested in this. And the more info you can give him, the better.
