File Upload Over 1mb (9 posts)

I am having trouble uploading files over 1mb through the form. I have tried changing the php.ini, .htaccess files but still no luck. I have contacted my host and they have confirmed that the max upload is set to 20mb.

All the settings in Contact 7 seem to be correct.
When uploading files below 1mb it works great. Anything over shows an error message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you set up the file uploading field in your form?

    The form looks like this;

Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name class:sidebarInput]

Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email class:sidebarInput]

Transaction ID(required)
You can find your Transaction ID on your PayPal Receipt.
[text* ID class:sidebarInput watermark "please include hyphens"]

Upload
    [file* Image limit:10mb filetypes:.jpg|.png|.pdf]

[submit "Send"]

Its as an uploader on http://snapcanvas.co.uk

Your file uploading field setting is correct and it seems working correctly to me. How did you test that? What type of file did you try to upload?

If I try and upload any image over 1mb the upload will fail. This shouldn't be the case as I've set the maximum upload to 10mb.

What type of file? PNG? PDF?
How you fail? You see an error message?

I've tried to upload JPEG, PNG and PDF. Again only files under 1mb are successful. Anything over brings back an Error. Here is a screenshot http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/3353/screenshot20120124at153.png

    Thanks

ok. It seems that uploading a file is successfully completed. Maybe there is a limitation of attachment file size in your mail server setting. Contact your host.
