I started getting "Failed to send your message" errors with CF7 with version 3.1.1. The problem is it will work during testing but fail later.

Appears disabling W3 Total Cache fixes the job despite having a Page Cache "Never Cache" exception for /contact/

I'm on Site5 Share hosting with my own domain and email.

My site error logs don't record any issues. Any help appreciated!

Thank you Takayuki, I get the Orange "Spam" message when I test. I use Akismet and caching with the contact page excluded from caching and Garbage collection set for 3600 seconds. Not sure how Nonce works - would it be affected by Cache as well?

What's tough is visitors posted that the form was broken, I went to test and it as fine. I was notified again of an issue and testing failed - end result is that I'm never sure it's working or not.

Solved (I think) - I found three places to set Garbage Collect in W3 Total Cache: Page, Database and Object Cache. I was setting just Page Cache. Once I set Garbage Collection for all three to 3600 seconds (1hr - all defaults were 24hrs) Contact Form 7 appears to have started working again. I've gone three days without and error on my end and several users have been successful.

    Thanks Takayuki!

Scratch that - just failed again with an Orange warning. I hit refresh on the page with all the same data and it sent fine.

Does anyone know how to configure WT3C with CF7?
Should I roll back to the prior version of CF7 since it worked fine?
Do I have to disable W3TC? It does seem to be at the heart of many issues, but makes sites so much faster...

    Hi Takayuki,

I'm getting the red warning, and even added WP-Mail-SMTP plugin and got it working, but I continue to get a red box error: "Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact administrator"

Again, WP-Mail-SMTP confirms server side connection. The site is http://www.desalvoadamson.com/contact
