Error on every page header when activated?..... (7 posts)

    Hi

    Ive set contact form 7 up on local host with no errors, but now im live i have activated it nd instantly get a message in the header of every page on my site:

    That does not look liker the output from any plugin file. Have you asked your hosts about this?

    Hi esmi

    no not yet, just wanted to check here first if it was something to do with the plugin. Before i ring them, im hosted with namesco which has zeus software on their servers, do you know if this would this have anything to do with it?

    This code appears, when activating the Plugin and is not outputted from other plugins

    @Handfeger

    My hosts weren't much help with this issue, so i use cforms now. Works well and has the same amount of features as Contact Form 7....without the errors.

    Just Googled and found out that the ._ Files, created when you unzip the whole, are the issue.
    If you unzip the File on a Windows or Linux you won't get this problem.

    Just delete every file starting with a ._ (they are hidden by the system) and the issue is resolved.

    I don't know why this files are loaded in the first place, but the files must not exists.

    To delete this files via Terminal just cd to the folder you unpacked the Plugin and run
    rm ._*
    then repeat this with every subfolder.
