Hi: I am a novice. I installed the plugin. Copied the line as instructed onto my page. The form appears on my web page but there emails do not show up in my account. What am I doing wrong? Please step by step instructions. It's not obvious to me what to do. Thanks.
Try using another email address for your contact form - especially if you're currently using a Yahoo address. Yahoo can silently 'drop' some emails. I've seen at least one person recently say changing from Yahoo to a Gmail address solved their problem.

I'm trying to use the email address that goes with my domain name. Where do I indicate the address I want my responses to go to. See, I'm clueless. Sorry.
it will be in the management page for the plugin...in your admin pages
It's set on a "per form" basis. In Admin/Tools/Contact Form 7, there's a Mail panel - just below the panel where you design your form. Use the To: field to enter the email address that you would like your mailed forms to be sent to.
