   Every time the form is submitted, it comes up with the orange border "# Akismet judged the sending activity as spamming" error.

   How can I fix this? Can I turn off that spam checker?

   I've tried deactivating Akismet.

   I'm using:

   WordPress 3.4.1
   Contact Form 7 version 3.3
   Akismet 2.5.6

   Do you use Comment Blacklist? Contact Form 7 3.3 checks it, too. Also, if you use cache plugin, try clearing the cache once.

   I figured it out. The problem was that I needed to customize the code for the drop down select in the contact form, so I had copied/pasted the form code that the shortcode output. I just needed to get the latest code again, and it works now.
