Hi there,

Maybe I’m totally misunderstanding something, but I can’t get this to work. Here’s what I got:

    – ConstantContact plugin installed
    – Contact7 installed
    – This plugin (Contact Form 7 & Constant Contact) installed, registration accepted from CC

When I open the “Contact” sidebar menu and create/save my form, there’s a default Contact7 code in there:

Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name]

    etc, etc…

Below that, it asks if I want to integrate with ConstantContact, which is checked, and the selected list is checked too.

Below that, there’s a list of fields – presumably what I want to show in the form.

BUT there is NO GUIDE to what to do there. And THAT is my problem.

If I enter the Contact7 shortcodes there, say, [your-name] under “First Name” field, or if I try simply [first-name] – and so on – I get NOTHING when I preview my post.

If I leave the original Contact7 shortcodes, the form DOES show up.

    So the question is: why?

And also: is there somewhere I can look up which shortcodes to use for which field?

And: assuming that I’m supposed to create the CC form UNDER the “integrate” checkbox, and NOT in the Contact7 section above – why does it not show up?

I hope this makes sense. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks:) paul
