    Hi all,

I am trying to track submissions of a contact form as a "Goal" in Google Analytics.

I followed the steps in this blog post to put in the code:

    http://ideasilo.wordpress.com/2009/05/31/contact-form-7-1-10/

I can't yet tell if Google Analytics is tracking the submissions yet, but meanwhile the response messages have disappeared -- nothing shows up when someone submits the form.

Another forum mentioned that this could be due to Admin tracking being disabled, but I logged out of my admin session and even used an IP proxy just to test, and the response message appears not to show for anyone.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Justin

I just ran into this issue as well... confirmation works fine once the code is removed. Anyone know of a solution? I'm using the following:
    on_sent_ok: "pageTracker._trackPageview('/contact-us/Submit.htm');"

    Same problem.

This guy has the correct answers, but is vague on the fix for the disappearing AJAX: http://www.bobzien.com/2010/10/22/google-analytics-goals-with-contact-form-7-the-right-way/
