• Hello,

    first thanks for the plugin it works well.

    I have a little problem by customizing the stylesheet, I´m shure for the pros it is quiet simple to fix it.

    I use cf7 as a textwidget in the sidebar. By default the widht of cf7 is size 40, i will need the form in width size 30. How can that be made?

    I´ve tried to ad it in the stylesheet via adding a line

    width: 30px in this area:

    div.wpcf7 {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;

    but it didn´t work!

    I´m sure there is a solution 😉

    thx and kr

    Michael

  • I am having the exact same problem, but my skillz are probably a 3 on a scale of 10 so if someone could give me the “See Jane Run” version, I would appreciate it greatly.

    Just like wami, it’s pasted into the sidebar as a textwidget.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    it’s much easier than you think – no css needed whatsoever.
    When you set up your contact form you can directly give extra information within the brackets. To change the cols from 40 to say 25 it should look like this:
    [text* your-name 25/]

    To get the right format, just play with the “generate tag” on the right side and you’ll see how the different options are to be used.

    Should fit nicely in your sidebar!

    It was, indeed, just that simple. 18/ worked for my narrow widget. That’s the final piece of a nice looking blog front page, thanks doppelboxx!
