[Plugin: Contact Form 7] CF7 3.1.1 inserts several lines of junk code to top of page

Latest version of WP (3.3.1) + latest version of CF7 (3.1.1) = several lines of junk characters inserted before html content. The top of the page (admin & front-end) shows several lines of 1?????????????1… etc repeated. Last version (3.1?) worked fine. Re-post it or fix this bug. I had a back-up of the last version that I’m using now, but I’m looking into another contact form plugin that’s more stable
