Contact Form 7
[resolved] Blank white rectangle where send button should be (2 posts)

    I'm using Contact Form 7 in a new WP site. My basic styles have white text on dark background. I struggled to get dark text in the input boxes of my form, and ended up adding this to the styles.css for Contact Form 7:

    .jgb { color: #000000; }

    Then I did this with my text entry fields:

    <p>Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name class:jgb] </p>

    This made the text black in the input boxes, but referencing this class for the button did not do any good. My button is just a white rectangle.

    How can I make the button look like a button with "Send" on it?

    The form is here.

    Thanks

    I came up with a working solution, so I thought I'd share it. I added the following to style.css for contact-form-7:

    .wpcf7-submit { color: #111111; background-color: #dddddddd; }

    This gave me a button that has black text on a light gray background.

    This tag is referenced in the js code for the form, but it does not exist anywhere in the 2.3 version of the contact-form-7 plugin. This might be considered a bug...
