Any way to make the form "fold" itself after submission? (4 posts)

    Hi,

The plugin is working pretty well but I'd love to get another feature.

After submit, the form just returns a success message next to the submit button. Is there any way I could make the main window fold itself (not showing the fields) and display the success message?

Instead of showing the form fields, something like this:

    Thank you

I'm also trying to find a similar solution. Anyone have any suggestions?

From a usability point of view, that is a really good suggestion. Just showing the green box while the form is still open can be confusing for many users. Folks have gotten used to forms "folding" upon successful submission, so +1 for this request.

It goes without saying that in case of orange or red box (warning or error) the form should not fold.

    P.S. MarceFX, your link returns a 404

    Hi,

Well, I did use another plugin since couldn't get CF7 to do this. In case you're interested, this is the one I am using now:

    Cheers!

PS. @OC2PS, I know, I removed the pic from Skitch since it's not needed anymore. If you need it, just contact me at blog@marcefx.com
