When implementing a required drop-down menu, is it possible to have a choice in the list that is not a legal entry? In other words, if the user selects this choice, they cannot submit the form. For example, the first choice and the default entry would be "Please choose one," but they have to select something other than "Please choose one" in order to submit the form.
EDIT: I have figured out that the include_blank option inserts "---" as the first choice, but if you try to submit the form, this is not a legal choice and another choice must be selected. However, it would be nice if I could replace "---" with custom text.
