   **Just started this topic because this is about the Contact Form 7 plugin only.

   When I try to save modifications on Contact Form 7 I'm getting a "Forbidden You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/admin.php on this server." error.

   Already have checked permissions, added
   

   <IfModule mod_security.c>
   SecFilterEngine Off
   SecFilterScanPOST Off
   </IfModule>

   to .htaccess without success.

   Can you guys help?

   *This works perfectly locally but fails on deployment
   *WP version: 3.3.1 , Contact Form 7 version: 3.0.2.1

   I have the exact same problem. I have also tried those suggestions. Have you found a solution to this?
