• Tried uploading via WP Admin, then manually via SFTP (my host insists on SFTP).

Both times, got INTERNAL SERVER Error message:
    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@xxx.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

When I uploaded the plug-in manually and then tried to activate it via WP admin, it disabled the WP admin altogether. Could not get back into the site until I deleted files from the server.

Host company says it is my problem. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
