I think the support for localization is some kind of a standard in WordPress plugins in these days. It is not hard to implement and even more people will find your plugin useful on their localized websites.

This is planned for once the code base settles down a bit. Connections is currently under constant heavy development and translations would be useless from one version to the next.
Once version 1.0 us reached, localization will be top priority.
