[Plugin: Connections] 0.5.44/0.5.45: Fatal error on activation (8 posts)

    When i try to upgrade the plugin to either the 0.5.44 or 0.5.45 version. I got a fatal error of the setAllowPublic function (line 164).

    I have the same problem :(

    Fatal error: Call to a member function setAllowPublic() on a non-object in .../wp-content/plugins/connections/connections.php on line 164

    My sincere apologies. I hopefully have fixed it with the 0.5.46 update.

    I'm rolling back to the previous version, 0.5.1 until I can figure this out. Sorry about this. I have to figure another way to test. I must have activated and deactivate without issue hundreds of times.

    The error encountered in this thread was resolved in version 0.5.48.

    The error in this thread has been fixed since version 0.5.48. The error you're encountering is a different issue.

    Connections requires PHP5. Depending on your host... Ask them to upgrade your account to PHP5 or access your control panel and change the default. If PHP5 is running ensure and you still receive the error try adding SetEnv DEFAULT_PHP_VERSION 5 to your .htaccess file.

    You can use the WordPress System Health plug-in to verify your running version of PHP.
