We have been using the events plugin for months now and never had any problems. Great plugin!

However we have just installed Social Network Auto Poster (SNAP) plugin.

We want our events automatically posted to twitter/facebook/tumblr when created.

The SNAP plugin breaks the posting of events. Events are no longer posted but they are added in the database in the wp_posts table. The only way to delete the posts that appear on the homepage is to remove them from wp_posts via phpmyadmin, as they do not appear anywhere in the admin (not even under posts).

Deactivating the SNAP plugin makes posting events work again.

Hope the above helps and look forward to a fix in the next version.

    Kind Regards
    Dan

    Hiya,

Given this works without the SNAP plugin, the problem appears to lie with that plugin and not EM. As such, you’ll need to contact that plugin’s developer for a fix.

    Thanks

Is there a plugin that you recommend that plays nice with EM that will automatically post events to Twitter/Facebook/Meetup when created?

sorry can’t recommend any plugin however you can try plugin which supports custom post types and/or if they used jquery it’s should be wp default jquery library to avoid conflicts.
