    ps: I have it currently Deactivated until I hear more from you on your advice;

    Do I even need this plugin installed on my blog for it to work when I comment on other blogs?

    Thanks!

    you do NOT need the plugin installed to take advantage of it on other blogs when you comment as long as they have it installed and working and you have a valid feed that can be fetched.

    in the vast majority of cases where people think commentluv is having a problem, it's because their feed is having a problem. Commentluv can only send back what your feed shows it, if you feed is not working or there are errors in it then commentluv will say it can't send back posts.

    Read the error message and follow it's advice.

    If it says a feed cannot be found then check your site has an autodiscovery feed entry in the header, commentluv cannot find your feed unless you tell it where it is. Either add an autodiscovery feed tag to your header or visit comluv.com/member/ and register your url and specify the location of your feed.

    Do that and visit comluv.com/member/unban-url/ to remove the ban and you should be good to go.

    Andy, I'm pretty sure this is related to the "WordPress 3.0 is SLOW" issues I'm seeing others post. It's not ComLuv, and I don't think it's entirely Feedburner's fault, either. I think something is timing out somewhere due to the horrible sluggishness of 3.0. I think this ComLuv issue is just a symptom of a bigger problem.
