Hey guys,
Running WordPress 2.7.1 with the Mandigo theme and I can't get this plugin to send any emails.
I tried a few times with test email accounts and got nothing, then I got a friend to post a comment making sure the checkbox to recieve emails was ticked. I replied to that comment, and they did not recieve any email.
I'm wondering exactly what php mechanism this plugin uses to send the emails and if there is anything I need to configure on my web host to get it working.
Also, does the plugin only work for logged in users? or will it send emails to visitors when they provide their email address?
The site in question is http://www.dangrec.com if that helps at all.
thanks,
Dan
Anyone have anything?
I tried the advice in the other thread and removed the '@' from the wp_mail() call, but that did nothing.
I've also tried a few of the 'subscribe to comments via email' type plugins and they work fine, it's just this one that does not...
anyone?
Thanks,
-Dan

This did work at one time for me, but I think a WP upgrade broke it. I just noticed this morning that it's not working.
Grecy, which "subscribe to comments via email" plugin did you switch to?
Btw, I thought WP included "subscribe to comments" in one of their latest upgrades (2.8.4 maybe?) but I can't find it in wp-admin anywhere if it is.
Thx!
This plugin is still not working for me, even after updating to 2.8 then 2.9
Subscribe to comments: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscribe-to-comments/
worked great, I just don't want people to see huge lists of the comments every time.
I emailed the author and he said he might include functionality like comment-reply-notification in the next version.
I also tried Reply Me
which worked great, but there is no opt-out option so I don't like it.
I'd love to hear if anyone actually has this plugin working.. ?
Thanks,
-Dan
