I just noticed this recently, after upgrading to WordPress 3.0, so I don't know if the problem is new or if it existed prior to WordPress 3.0. But the styling of this plugin in Internet Explorer 7 & 8 is really messed up. The spacing between categories is uneven: normal after collapsed parent categories, too wide otherwise. It doesn't match the default styling of my site. Also, the black arrows don't show up too well in IE.
The plugin displays just fine in Firefox and Chrome, and I love it. Lots of people still use IE though, so I'd like to see this fixed.

"The spacing between categories is uneven: normal after collapsed parent categories, too wide otherwise."
After refreshing sometimes, the font for all of the categories gets smaller than the default font size for the site and the categories are all scrunched up with narrow spacing between them.

This problem still exists, even with IE9 beta.

I have been very busy with other projects lately, but have finally gotten around to debugging this. Please try the development version.
Thanks.
