I try to use this plugin.
But I can't translate into Japanese.
After more checking, I know "file name" causes this issue.
The filename of ".mo" and ".po" must be "-ja.mo" and "-ja.po".
It is wrong to be "-ja_JP.mo" and "-ja_JP.po".

For the same reason, the admin panel of this plugin can't displayed in Japanese.

As the plugins page states, it supports currently only locale defintions with country and language code eg: en_US / en_UK / ja_JP.
If you need it short (for other plugins like qtranslate, which isn't iterested into country) then translate it with full locale and afterwards rename it.
