   First I want to say thank you to the developers of this awesome plugin. It's certainly come in very handy.

   With that said, I wonder if the user interface could be improved a bit to something more WordPress-like and user friendly for non-developer types that might be interacting with it. I'm a big believer in the KISS principle.

   Here is an example of what I might suggest:

   We actually moved away from dropdowns because they become unmanageably long after about 25 authors. Is there a different aspect you'd suggest adopting? What in particular do you think is complex about the current UI?

   Thanks for the reply and good point, but with 25 authors, the current UI is going to be quite tall and unwieldy. Did you look at the multi-select option of Chosen? I think that might work.

   I'm just trying to look at the current UI from the standpoint of a stupid user. It looks quite different from any other WordPress field (and therefore strange). Then when you click on it it has the user ID, username, display name (i'm guessing), and email. I'd probably just make it the display name and that's it. Super simple and easy to understand.

   These are my immediate thoughts of course, others can chime in too.

   PS: Also just noticed when selecting people, you can select the same names more than once which probably shouldn't be.

   Sorry, I meant when you have more than 25 authors to choose from. I don't think having 25 authors on the post is that common ;)

   This is valid. I'm not sure of the original rational for it. I'll ask Mo for his thoughts.

   This is valid too. We have a ticket for it if you'd like to prepare a patch :)
