I was going to add a shortcode so I could use co-authors plus. I addded the code to the functions.php on the child theme I am using, clicked update. Whole site jammed. Can't see the site or log in or anything.
I clicked backspace to see if that helped. I can see the original code and added in code. I took out the shortcode, clicked update again. Still locked out. Whole site is down still.
Went to the site back ups and checked the functions.php file in the wp-access folder. Looks good to me. What more can I do?
I must be looking in the wrong places for the wrong files.
I have customers with deadlines that need to get on to the site daily. HELP!
