If you're running into issues with a Fatal Error or Timeout issues being thrown, please revert back to v1.2 (http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/co-authors-plus.1.2.zip).
The plugin is basically timing out while upgrading your post authors to the new taxonomy system. I'll try to get a fix out in the next day or so.
