    Hey guys...

    First i installed ClickDesk plugin on my local wordpress to test it out (using MAMP on Mac OS X). Everything went perfect!

    Problem: when i installed it on my remote server, on the right domain and such, after i do everything i click Install Plugin and it redirects to my localhost:8888. Really? Why is that happening? Makes no sense at all!!!!

    I've checked the source and i got this:

    function installWidget(widgetId){
    var wp_url = 'http://localhost:8888/wp-admin/admin.php?page=livily_dashboard&cdwidgetid='+widgetId;

    if (top != self) { top.location.replace(wp_url);}

    return false;
    }

    Really?? How can it be possible that this thing got my localhost installation url?? Bad bad bug!

    Hi,

    I apologize for the delay in my response.
    Clearing your browser cookies would solve this.

    To make sure that the plugin gets configured correctly even on sub-folder and sub-domain WordPress installations without any errors, it was coded to bring the full URL from the browser and append the ClickDesk widget id to it in the browser bar.

    The value is locally taken from your browser cookie. So, clearing the cookies would fix it. I will take this forward to our engineers to see if this can be approached in a better way. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

    Please write to support @ clickdesk.com if you have any more questions.

    Thanks,
    Jagan
