CleanerPress
[resolved] CSS caching gone in 2.0 (8 posts)

The only thing I was using CleanerPress for seems to be the only thing removed from the latest version; this is caching, and combinating of CSS. It was much more reliable at that than any other plugin I could find. It had trouble "deleting" cache files, but I could remove them manually. This was the one feature I used. This was/is the most spotlighted feature for it on WordPress.org, and the reason I found it in the first place.

I have downgraded to 1.0.2., which still works perfectly fine with wp 3.4.2. I don't use the javascript handling, again just CSS.

It should be there in 2.0, but ill take a look at it this week. Seems like I messed something with regards to the caching. Thank you for pointing this out.

    Hi,

First time user and I am LOVING this plugin!!

However I'm having the same issue - not seeing caching options on the settings, and there's no 'arevico-css-cache_' in wp-content

    Hi,

I found the problem and I will post a fix for it somewhere in this week if my schedule allows me too.

Basically, the caching code has gone missing. I don't know where I was with my mind, but the functions and constructors were actually took out while i was testing a feature. I will update it - and test it - this week or next week. Thanks for pointing it out =)

I know it's a lot of work to keep these things up to date and bug free, especially for a free plugin. Much appreciated.

Can someone please tell me if this is working for them now? I tried this option but it appeared to mess up my site. I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong.
