   Hello,
   I have been using Clean Archives Reloaded 3.1.1 and it's been working very well. An example is here in the 'Opportunities Archive' section.

   My ambition is to re-write the plugin so that it will be ordered by a custom field ('event_date') which carries a value of 'dd/mm/yy', instead of the postdate.

   I have looked around a little bit and am a novice in mysql/php.
   I'm not sure if the discussion here is useful, and could be applied in some form. If anyone is able to help here I'd be very grateful.

   Please do let me know if current code is useful. Thanks in advance.
