Good news: on second attempt, the upgrade was successful.

    Thank you, Marco!

BTW: Please visit the plug-in’s administration panel after the update, it will make a small database update too that is required, thank you.

@marco, Thank you for the tip. I installed version 2.2.0 and didn’t add any user fields before upgrading to 2.3.0. I looked in the “Cimy User Extra Fields” ( <wordpress-path>/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=user_extra_fields ), but I didn’t see anything about a database update. I also followed the instructions in the documentation, which reads:

    UPDATE FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION:
go to Cimy User Extra Fields admin options, press “Fix the problem” button and confirm

Again, I didn’t see any “fix the problem” button in the admin options screen.

I assume that, since I don’t have any extra fields yet, that I don’t need to update the database. Will you please confirm or deny that?

Thank you again for your help.

Actually documentation is not up to date, basically I perform db update automatically now, just visiting plug-in’s admin area, thanks for reminding me.

I will add also a message maybe about the update so it’s more clear what happened in the background.
