Hi,
I activated "cimy header image rotator".
I can not put any pictures via FTP into the folder "/wp-content/Cimy_Header_Images/0" on the server ("access denied") nor delete or rename the folders.
Setting the rights with 2 different FTP clients did not change anything.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Frank

You must give web-server permissions to the folders. Or contact the web-server administrator that might knows what to do.

Hi Marco,
same funny thing with two different WP systems (same ISP (all-inkl.com)):
Uploading pictures from the admin menu works!
Uploading with ftp client does not.
Changing permissions with ftp client(s) - no way.
This is not a very important thing, because i do not change header images every day.
I will contact the ISP and ket you know, if we solved the problem.
Thank's a lot
Frank
Actually I re-read the problem and I might know why it happens:
plug-in created the subdirectory with webserver's permissions and the FTP user is not able to rename/write anything in it because has no permissions.
I still suggest to write to the webserver admin for a solution.

Inbetween I found a solution at the admin-menu of my provider ( http://all-inkl.com ) to give the rights back to the user.
Now I'm able to upload pictures via FTP.
Thank you for the support
best regards
Frank
