    I have a problem since i updated from a previous version.

    Before if a had a role with permission to edit users they were able to change other users to other role and to theyr same role. Now they can’t even if i set manage capability cap to them.

    Looks like there is a problme cause i read that a user can assign other users his role if he has the correct capabilities.

    No, a user who is not administrator cannot create other users with the same role it has. This is to prevent the user creating so many people that can add other users and was highly demanded.

    In other words: A user (not administrator) who can create/edit users, cannot allow this new users to create/edit users. This is a security question that allows administrators to control who can create new users on the system.
