Since it's not sending to Twitter, what does that side of the plugin do? Where is the information stored?
Is it modifying the permalink? If yes, then will other plugins like URL shortener have access to that link before shortening it?

Hi,
This option provides a Link with the campaign-attributes. So you can send this link with the parameters to twitter after publishing the post. Or if you add a bit.ly API you can shorten this link directly and can send it to twitter.
The link will not send automaticly, becourse I think it's better to add some individuel comments to a tweet.
