Plugin caching to old directory after moving WordPress

    I moved the WordPress installation (following the instructions here) from /blog/ to /wp/. Everything works fine, except that ai1ec keeps trying to write cache to its old location in /blog/wp-content/plugins/all…calendar/cache/ instead of /wp/wp-content/plugins/all…calendar/cache/. If I delete the /blog/ directory then as soon as the calendar page is accessed the plugin creates it again, which interferes with having a Page named “blog.” I have deleted the entire plugin directory and reinstalled it, and I can find no settings that will let me change the plugin’s caching behavior.

    I never did, as I recall. The solution, unfortunately, was to modify the plugin’s settings in the database directly. I do not remember more specifically than that, I’m afraid. I remember calling several searches for “ai1ec” throughout the various tables and eventually finding the cache directory. I also recall it being difficult to find and not where I expected it.

    Hello Stpetersphila,

    You have to do it from database, please open your website database, go to wp_options table and find the row which have the column option_name valued “ai1ec_settings”, click on edit to edit that record. find the address of wordpress directory in the option_value column of that record. please correct the path with your new directory path, if it is not correct and save the record.
