   I'm unable to use the contact form on the Author's site (maybe they have a similar issue ;)

   I've just installed business directory plugin Version 0.8.4 Beta

   My WordPress version is 2.8.6

   It activates ok but when I click on one of the Submit buttons for either the Add Business form or search form it does nothing. When I view the console in Firebug it says 404 page not found, I think it's unable to locate requests.php.

   I tried editing business-directory.php and changing the path for requests.php to an absolute path etc but this did not fix the problem.

   I've also tried deactivating all plugins (apart from this plugin) and changing the theme to the default WP theme but still the same problem. As well trying with non-permalinks.

   The website says the plugin works with 2.8.5 so I assume something new in 2.8.6 is causing this to happen?

   Hello, I have exactly the same problem with wordpress2.9.1.
   I had a look on many forum but I didn't get any answer.

   I am sure a lot of wordpress user have the same trouble is there someone to help us.

   I ran into this problem too. This line at the beginning of the requests.php file that is supposed to load WordPress fails to do so properly:

   require('../../../wp-blog-header.php'); //Load WordPress

   Replace it with this and things should work better:

   $wp_root = explode('wp-content', $_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME']);
   $wp_root = $wp_root[0];
   chdir($wp_root);
   if (!function_exists('add_action')) {
   	if (file_exists('wp-load.php')) {
   		require_once('wp-load.php');
   	} else {
   		require_once('wp-config.php');
   	}
   }

   I'm having a similar problem with this plugin. It's similar but not quite the same. When I enter a new directory listing I dont' get an error page, the new listing never appears in the control panel for approval. I've looked for the requests.php file and can't find it. Which directory/folder is it in? I'd like to try this fix to see if it works for this problem too.

   Anyone know of a business directory (or any directory) that allows images? I have a WordPress 2.8.6 site and need this. So far, I have only found one and it was $49.99.

   The proper code in the requests.php file did the trick for me. Now the Submit button works, even on WP 2.9.2.

   Now I need to get the listings to display contact information. Right now each listing has to include the contact info in the description. It is a weird directory that does not display phone, and email, just a link to the business Website. Where I live, not everyone has a Website. If anyone has had success with displaying other contact info, I'd welcome hearing how you did it.
