    Hi there

Just wanted to know if there was any way that BPS could conflict or interfere with robots.txt file?

I had uploaded the site with the privacy button checked and then allowed search engines to index site when it was ready to launch. Will this just take time and resolve itself or do I have to make an alteration to the robots.txt file. I had read in another support post that by unchecking the root .htaccess box in BPS that the site would be searchable by google again?

    Sorry if this is vague.

    thanks,

    niallw

"...by unchecking the root .htaccess box in BPS..."

I think you are thinking of another plugin. BPS does not have an option to uncheck the root .htaccess box. BPS does not do anything in regards to robots.txt files and BPS does not interfere with or cause any problems with Google indexing, website rankings, website performance or anything else having to do with SEO. BPS just provides website security without interfering with anything else about your website.
