Never mind. Nobody said that the new upgrade now makes a COMPLETELY new section that you are supposed to fill in and click >:(

1stAngel, change to bp-default theme and see if same behavior applies. Could be that your theme needs to be updated to be compatible with BP 1.5

Oh hell! I hate the default theme (sorry) and mine is from WPMUDev that I cannot afford to upgrade (they are expensive)

    Will have to suffer it

    Thanks anyway

ok no, its the links to acctivity are all screwy. If I try and make an activity post I get

    Permission Denied
    Not Found / No Access

Its like the new thing of making pages in your wordpress, hasnt made these pages?

The forums work but all activity posts in groups, profile, dont work.

1stAngel – install the Theme Check plugin and run it. The results will show which template tags will need to be updated, if any.

Did you go through all the steps of BuddyPress update wizard? Page was assigned to each BP component in dashboard BuddyPress > Pages?

    Thread Starter 1stAngel

    (@1stangel)

Yes I did the update wizard. It said it was all made and working. The activity then appeared but I just get this error when I try and use it.

Theme Check plugin? I will go find that

    Thread Starter 1stAngel

It has a LOAD of errors and I do not understand any of them. Seems like I will have to scrap the theme which is a shame as I have had lots of really nice comments on this theme 🙁

    Thread Starter 1stAngel

    (@1stangel)

Ok I went with Custom Community. Tested adding to the activity and

    Permission Denied
    Not Found / No Access

sitewide forums didnt work either. Do you know if I can backdate this stupid BP?

1stAngel, I can understand your frustration. If you backed up your database before upgrading, open it i.e. the SQL file to make sure that you have a good backup. Then restore – http://codex.wordpress.org/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backup

As for Custom Community theme, this could still be going through review in WP theme repo but they have updated theme files and you can download the latest at https://github.com/Themekraft/Custom-Community
