   I may be completely mental but I have activated the plugin yet I cannot find any step by step guide :/

   Go to admin-panel.
   In the section appearance you should now find a new entry bp compatibility

   I also got a bit stumped here - new copy of WP, installed BuddyPress, activated it, installed template pack, activated it and.. nothing. What I hadn't done, was actually setting up BuddyPress - it didn't mention this step on the page I was using for instructions. Seems logical in retrospect, but not at the time!

   Hmm I just did same thing as karl19. Might be worth actually mentioning BP needs to be installed.

   I jumped ahead to this plugin before installing BP because I wanted to see if my theme would be compatible.
