[Plugin: BuddyPress] new users – set up as just subscribers not admins

    There are only two roles in BuddyPress, the Site/Super Admin and the rest i.e. members. If you set new users in WP as Authors in Settings > General for single WP, then your new users would be able to post as Authors in the backend of site, but would have no other privileges in BuddyPress unless you set someone as Group Admin or Group Moderator.
