BuddyPress Links
Widget styling (7 posts)

    I love BuddyPress Links, and so will the community for which I'm building a website.

    The only thing is, I could use some help with the styling of the sidebar widget.

    a) Default images (supplied by the link website itself) appear in their full size, not a thumbnail, like cropped custom images.

    b) Links appear 'staggered' in the sidebar.

    If anyone could give me any help for these two issues, it would be greatly appreciated.

    An example of the 'staggering':

    A screenshot is of no use. What might help is a link to a page demonstrating the problem.

    Oh, right. ;)

    The URL is: Surinaamse Genealogie

    Try adding clear:both; to:

    .widget ul li {
        display: block;
        list-style: none outside none;
        padding: 0.3em 2px;
    }

    in theme.css

    Thanks so much! That did the trick for the 'staggering'...

    Would you have any idea on how to make sure all of the images stay that cropped size in the sidebar?

    You could try adding something like:

    #links-list img.avatar {
        width: 50px;
        height:50px;
    }

    to the stylesheet.
