enabling group blog does not give current member's blog permissi (3 posts)

    Similar to this issue:

    But for exiting members of the group before enabling groupblog.

    Specifically, if you enabled the group blog in the group after you already have members, the existing members do not get the permissions to Add/Edit/Upload post to the blog.

    Looking at the code, it seems that this can be fixed just by forcing
    $update_users = true;
    in groupblog_edit_base_settings.

    Forcing
    $update_users = true;

    In the groupblog_edit_base_setting function does not fix the problem of applying blog privledges to members retroactively.

    So this does not work. Is the developer aware of a solution to fix the issue updating existing members?
