[Plugin: BuddyPress] Buddypress conflict with MMforms Pro

    Hi everyone,

    There’s a problem with buddypress conflicting with MMForms pro. When I receive the email, the “from” section is fixed e.g. “mysite.com@noreply.com”. No matter how I change it in the form settings, its always the same fixed “from”. When I disabled buddypress, it goes back to normal. Anyone have ideas on this?

    I found a fix and would like to share to all. Just go to:
    wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-filters.php

    And comment out (or add “//” before it) lines 41-59. These lines of code sets the “From” name and email address as follows: “Blogname noreply@www.mysite.com”

    For BuddyPress 1.6, we’ve taken out the noreply@…, which was legacy from when we used to run on WPMU 2.9.* some years ago.

    Thanks Paul, is there a fix you can suggest that would work for Version 1.5.5 until 1.6 is stable?

    Does the fix MegaToon TV found have any negative repercussions?
