[Plugin: BuddyPress Album] Add Comments not possible

When I upload a picture I get “Comments are disabled for this picture. Edit picture to enable them”. Even if I go edit the picture there is no section to enable comments. I do have “allow site members to post comments on album images” set to “yes” in the general settings. How do I enable comments on pictures?
