BuddyPress Activity Plus
[resolved] Images are stacking Vertically in activity stream (20 posts)

    The Images are stacking Vertically, one on top of one another, in my activity stream not like how they are shown here: http://wpmu.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/bp-activity-plus-images.jpg

    How should I modify the plugin to make them align as shown in the above link?

    Please let me know asap!

    Cheers,
    //MD

    Found a solution to my own problem!

    You need to do a couple things, but they're easy:

    In your plug-ins folder -> buddypress-activity-plus -> css find the file "bpfb_interface.css" and add the following:

    //This will remove the line breaks that are all over the place
    .bpfb_images br {display:none}

    //This will allow you to force the images to be a diff. size, spacing, etc..
    .bpfb_images img {
    	max-width: 420px;
    	margin-bottom: 10px;
    	margin-right: 10px;
    	}

    If you are handy in css you can tweak away.

    Cheers!
    MD

    Buddypress activity plugin stacking up your images instead of showing them side by side?

    Look no further. I have spent hours testing other hacks and none of them have worked. MDavidLow's solution above didn't work for me either. Here’s how to fix it:

    83 Oranges .com, Unfortunately your fix for the vertical activity plus images didn't work for me.
    I follow exactly your steps but then the thumbnails disappeared and the images kept showing in vertical position.

    Here is the link to my site. I hope you can help on this issue

    Isnt this a simple CSS fix? Or am I missing something?

    .activity-content img{ float:left; margin:0 15px 15px 0;}

    Hi giorgosnl! Sorry to hear the fix didn't work for you. Has the1path's solution helped you? If not, I can help you get the issue fixed but will need access to the site.

    Hi 83 Oranges, Appreciate you offer. Indeed the the1path's solution helped but not the one posted here. on another post this one helped.

    .bpfb_images a {
        display: inline-block;
        float: left;
        margin: 0 15px 15px 0;
    }

    Still need to remove the <br> tags that pushes the images down for a complete fix, but dont know yet where they are.

    I popped this in my stylesheet and it worked like a charm:

    .bpfb_images br {
       display: none!important;
    }

    div.thickbox {
    	max-width: 176px!important;
            max-height: 176px!important;
    	margin-bottom: 10px!important;
    	margin-right: 10px!important;
    	}

    Hi everyone,

    is there a way to photos be on top and under photos to show activity content(text)...now is up side down...Its probably not a css?

    thanks

    in class_bpfb_binder.php find this:

    $content = @$_POST['content'] . "\n" . $bpfb_code;

    its a line 272, and change it to:

    $content = $bpfb_code. "\n" . @$_POST['content'];

    so it will call bpfb first and then content. With css described above, image will go on top left corner,text to right and under.

    I hope its helpful.
