    Hiya,

We don't have a demo site yet where you can log in and have a play with it - but you can see it "in action" on one site that I've found:
    http://secondsea.com

Here's an article we wrote up about it as well:

    Thanks!

@pinhit, I believe the latest version utilizes a different folder name. I'll run that by the developers but for now, you can simply create a folder named 'buddypress-activity-plus' and place the files in there and upload.

You really should have no trouble using 'bpfb' as the folder name as well, it's just that future versions likely will use 'buddypress-activity-plus' instead, so it would be the safest way to ensure upgrades go easily.

Also, you can optionally install this right from your admin area at Plugins > Add New and search for 'buddypress activity plus'.

@paulbe, there's not role integration currently but that does sound like a cool idea. We'll definitely keep that in mind for a future version.

Hello and thanks @DavidM for the first answeer.

It's possible to use this on a normal article from Buddypress ?

If "yes" than is your plugin very great, but with an article we can #tag, we can permit or not the acces, we ...

I search this possibility, can you make this ?

    Thanks
    Paul

thanks for the reply, unfortunately I can't anything with my site because my servers undergoing maintenance of some sort due to a recent attack apparently?

Hopefully I'll be able to get the plugin up and running coz it looks really good

    @pinhit
ugh.. server attack. That's no fun :(

Well, let us know when things are back up and running and we'll be glad to help ya with it then.

@paulbe, this plugin is really specific to the activity stream in BuddyPress. What it sounds like you're looking for with Buddypress articles is a whole different animal - and adding a user-role feature probably wouldn't be something we'd add unless a whole heap of people were asking for it.

Hope you find something that works for ya though!

great, I got it working !

just a couple of gripes though (constructive criticism of course) ;)

when uploading several pics at once they are stacking up underneath each other, is there a way to stack them along-side each other instead ?

would be absolutely excellent if users on my buddypress could incorporate this utility into their 'profiles', then we're about as good at it gets as a social networking site ;)

great plugin though, well done on this one

to be more specific, would be a cool for users to be able to post more than one pic / gravatar at a time as their profile image

see the plugin in action on my site if ya like:

    Hiya kenny,

Thanks for the feedback/suggestions. At this point we are focused on keeping this plugin specific to the activity stream. A separate plugin that provides a gallery for profile pages (or pulls in all photos uploaded by a user) would be pretty cool though.

    Hiya kenny,

Just to be clear, are you looking for the 'stacking' option during upload? They should display side-by-side once submitted to the activity stream.

    Hi Masonjames,

I've already wrote in your blog but I may ask here.
When I submitte my pictures to the activity stream, there are not display side-by-side...
What's wrong ? Have you ever heard the problem ?

    Thank you !

    Mathieu

@masonjames I'm using a fresh install of the latest versions of WordPress, BuddyPress, and Activity Plus. I am also using the default theme of BuddyPress. Multiple pictures posted to the activity stream are being displayed vertically (stacking) and not horizontally (side-by-side) as in the screenshots for the plugin. Given that I'm using the latest versions of everything, I think the plugin has an issue. Looking at the source code shows the use of < br /> after the of each image. Perhaps that has something to do with it?

Yes, using default items here too and the pics are vertical. Not a major issue and I never thought it seemed like an issue until I saw this post :)

    Probably a CSS issue?

    @masonjames

yes that's exactly what I'm looking for..at present the images are uploading horizontally but once saved they end up vertically stacked on top of each other. Is there a way to change this..?

    Regards

    Kenny
