Two pages in the far right of the menu are not visible (you can see that there is something there). If you over the mouse cursor over the page tabs, you can see the URL of the page and they are clickable but only the top portion of the page tab is visible. One of the pages is the Contact page.

You can see this at http://sandspointacademy.com

I can see that when you’re in regular Pages like Home, Contact, and Submit a Post for Publication, the links to aforementioned Pages are not there. But when you’re in BuddyPress component pages like Activity, Members, and Groups, all the navigation links are present. Something’s messing with the navigation links in regular Pages.

Deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress. See if link behavior is corrected. If so, reinstall plugins one by one and see which one is affecting the menu links disappearance in regular Pages.

Thanks! I decided to deactivate the plug-ins one at a time and the first one was the one causing the problem. That was EventManager. I visited the creator’s site at http://galfi.com/blog/wp-plugins/ and found an interesting page which says nothing except “Things are broken….and I don’t have time to fix them…..”. That explains it.

PhilEsq, glad you resolved the “missing page links mystery” and thanks for sharing what the problem was. Surprised that an events plugin could/would wreak havoc with wp_list_pages 🙂 Fortunately there are other events management plugins in WP repo.

Reminder: do change status of this topic to “Resolved” on the right sidebar.

    Cheers.

Please help with the same matter. I have wordPress on my local machine. I went through all process to have a buddyPress like website (community Portal). The matter is that the buddyPress top-left (Activity , Groups, Members …) menu is not working. It link respectively to folder activity , groups, members in the WP main directory. When i copy those folder in the WP main directory from the bp-themes folder and click on the menu activity which is supposed to take me to the activity page like here : http://sandspointacademy.com/activity/
I get the following message :
Call to undefined function get_header() in /Users/kakou/Sites/wordpress+/activity/index.php on line 1
and also when i look at this website i guess the activity folder is part of the main directory.
    Please help
